IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine Athletics will host a Salute to Heroes game at the men's basketball's home game against UC Riverside (Feb. 10). 
 
The game against the Highlanders starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Bren Events Center, and will pay tribute to Veterans, Military Service Members, and their families, Several Military Service Members and Veterans will be selected for a special pregame ceremony. 
 
Nominate a Veteran or Military Service Member 
UC Irvine Athletics is asking the community to nominate local Veterans and Military Service Members that will be honored during the game. Nominations can be submitted here. 
 
Seats for Service 
Fans can help send a local Veteran, Military Service Member, and their family to the game by sponsoring tickets here. UC Irvine Athletics will match all tickets sponsored by fans. Tickets will be distributed to local Veteran and Military support organizations. If you are a local Veteran or active Military Service Member and would like to attend the game, please submit a ticket request form by February 8^th here.
