FULLERTON, Calif. - Jason Messner ran an 8K personal record as the lone representative for the UC Irvine men's cross country team Friday evening at the John Elders Titan Invite.
Messner covered the Cal State Fullerton Campus Course in 27:20.0. The junior from Ventura, California, shaved nearly a minute off his previous 8K best from the UCR Invitational on Sept. 17.
Up next for the Anteaters is the 2022 Big West Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the UCR/Ag Ops Course in Riverside.
