
Zamora Drops Hard-Fought Battle in Round of 64

TULSA, Okla. - Sophomore Noah Zamora's run through the prequalifying singles draw of the ITA All-American Championships came to an end Sunday at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Zamora put up a fight in the Round of 64, but ultimately fell to North Carolina's Christopher Li, 7-5, 7-5. He finished the season-opening tournament with a 2-1 record after picking up a pair of straight-set victories on Saturday.
UC Irvine will be back in action next weekend at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic and the UCSB Invitational, Oct. 7-9.
