LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Top-ranked UCLA handed No. 13 UC Irvine men's water polo its first loss of the season as the Anteaters dropped a 12-6 decision Friday evening at Spieker Aquatics Center.

The 'Eaters (2-1) took the early lead and went toe-to-toe with the Bruins (5-0) before the home team created some separation with a 5-2 run to close out the third period.
