IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's tennis concluded its 2021 regular season with a 4-0 Big West Conference loss to UC Davis, Sunday morning at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

UCI ends the regular season with a 2-10 overall record and 2-6 in conference play. UC Davis improved to 8-7 overall and 5-3 in the Big West.

Before the match, UCI honored senior Arianna Tilbury.

The match was played clinch doubles, clinch singles. The Aggies won the doubles point with victories on courts 1 and 2. On court three, Dasee Carter and Emily Fowler were in a 5-6 battle with Yana Gurevich and Kristina Evloeva when the point was clinched.

In singles, freshman Mia Totah saw her first career start, she played at the No. 6 position and dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision to UCD's Evloeva.

Tilbury played her final home match at the No. 3 spot and fell, 6-1, 6-2 to Shirley Hall. Emily Fowler was leading the second set, 4-2, after dropping the first, 6-3, at the No. 4 spot against Michelle Zell when the match was clinched.

Carter's match at No. 5 also went unfinished, 6-7 (5-7) while Jessica Tsukiji's No. 1 match went unfinished, 2-6, 1-5.

Up Next, UCI will compete in the 2021 Big West Tournament. The action begins with the quarterfinals Thursday, May 29^th at the Great Park in Irvine.
