SAN DIEGO, Calif. – UC Irvine dropped a 6-1 decision to San Diego State in non-conference action, Sunday at Aztec Tennis Center.

Emily Fowler highlighted the match earning her first collegiate match with a 6-3, 6-3, decision over SDSU's Agustina Rimoldi at No. 6 singles.

No. 4 and 5 singles went into three sets with SDSU's Cecile Morin earning a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 edge at the No. 4 position over Alyssia Fossorier. Arianna Tilbury fell to the Aztecs' Alicia Melosch at No. 5, 7-5, 2-6, 6-1. The match was clinched at the No. 4 spot.

UCI dropped all three doubles matches.
