Box Score Long Beach, Calif. – After a well-played win Friday, UC Irvine could not find a rhythm Saturday, leading to a 3-0 sweep by Long Beach State, (16-25, 17-25, 11-25) at the Walter Pyramid.
The Anteaters hit -.044 (19-23-91), while LBSU hit .310 (39-13-84). The Beach out-blocked UCI 9-5 and owned a 6-3 ace advantage. They also topped UCI in digs, 42-27.
