HEAD COACH MIKE SAUNDERS ON TODAY'S WIN AND HIS SENIOR CLASS
"Great team win. The guys played together and for each other. Our mentality was the key. They played with incredible belief and courage. They played with purpose and passion. They played and competed like a team on a mission. It was an emotional day for me as we are graduating 4 players who I have been so blessed to be able to coach and mentor. Luis, Sasha, Mason and Vatsal all truly embody the student athlete ideal. They have represented the University with class; excelled in both the classroom and on the court; and they have inspired their coaches and teammates with their passion and work ethic; more than anything, they have contributed great leadership and helped us shape our team culture and galvanized our identity. I want to thank all four of them for giving me their trust and believing in me. What an incredible gift it has been to be given the opportunity to make a small difference in their lives. Once and Eater, always an Eater!"
