PROVO, Utah – UC Irvine struggled to find any momentum against BYU, dropping a 4-0 decision Friday evening in Utah.
 
The loss snaps a two-match winning streak for the Anteaters and puts them at 2-3 on the season. BYU improves to 8-2.

"We competed with heart. I was really proud of the effort the guys gave. We served for the doubles point but were not able to convert. We were up a break at 2 and 3 singles in the third but couldn't hold on. BYU is very tough at home. They had a good spirited crowd and they were well coached. Overall it was a well fought college tennis match."
