NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – UC Irvine battled back in the fourth set, but could not win the fifth against CSUN at The Matadome Friday.
The Matadors (7-11, 2-4) would win the match 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-11 behind a strong serving performance, recording 10 aces. The Anteaters go to 4-14 on the year and 1-5 in the Big West.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
>The middle blockers led the way with
Makayla Wolfe putting away 11 kills and
Onye Ofoegbu with 10. The duo also combine for 12 blocks, six each

Carrissa MacDonald made the start and had a career-high nine kills
