IRVINE, Calif. --- She's done it all - starter as a defender and forward, Big West Fall All-Academic, now she's back from an injury to dominate her senior year. Jonnae Joseph can do it all off the field, too. Hear from Jonnae about her skills outside the soccer pitch:

NAME THAT TUNE
"I love music so much and it has been a passion of mine for a really long time. I love listening to a variety of artists. I usually will take a day and sit and listen to artists I already know and then find related artists that may been a little more unknown and just keep going from there. I have about 17 Spotify playlists that I add to, and then I have at least a thousand songs saved to my library. I usually am given the aux when I go into my friends car and really enjoy feeling out the vibes of everyone and trying to match the mood with the songs I can play. If I had a playlist that was a definition of myself it would probably be a combination of The Internet, Solange, Tribe Called Quest, throwback Chris Brown, Bob Marley, Kendrick Lamar, and that would just be one playlist hahaha it also just depends on the mood I am in. I like all genres for the most part except EDM and Some country??."

Even beyond listening to music, I will get up and take the mic when its time to karaoke. My go to karaoke songs are Love by Keysha Cole, Love on Top by Beyonce, and Supersonic by JJ Fad. I did karaoke in Dallas, Texas to Supersonic by JJ Fad and am pretty sure I am a living legend there now."



ETCH-A-SKETCH
"I have painted and sketched with my Dad since I was super young. Its not that I am exceptionally good at it, but its something I enjoy doing. I really like following along with sketch guides with lines and stuff like that which ends up making a picture. The best sketches I have ever done would probably be pictures of Huey and Riley Freeman from The Boondocks. I really like the look of sketched pencil and black sharpie, but I also enjoy just coloring on coloring books with crayons and markers."

VOICE OF TOMORROW
"I'm a psychology and social behavior major with an education minor, but I realized I wanted to get into speech pathology. My goal is to take the pre-requisites I need and then apply to grad school after that. My long-term goal is to work at an elementary school with kids with speech impairments. I like the idea of working with elementary school kids because its such an impactful time in a kids life, and I would love to be able to help kids find their confidence and help them realize their abilities of communication through speech."

THE BREAKFAST CLUB
"I love old rom-coms because they are so realistically unrealistic. I feel like I am such a romantic so I really get invested with wanting the people in the movie to fall in love as cheesy as it sounds. I'd say any John Hughes movies are the ones I usually really end up liking."
