UC Irvine will play a dual match with Long Beach State on Monday (Apr. 9) at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club.
 
Dual match pairings and schedule:
8:00 a.m. - Breanne Jones/Jacqui Ngo (UCI) vs. Jennifer Yu/Maria Davis (LBSU)
8:09 a.m. – Janet Yeo/Sabrina Li (UCI) vs. Cara Barker/Euna Pak (LBSU)
8:18 a.m. – Avery French/Kaley In (UCI) vs. Haley Tygret/Holland Shourds (LBSU)
 
The dual is the final tune-up for the Big West Championship Apr. 15-17 at Strawberry Farms.
 
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
 
Avery French was third and Kaley In placed 10^th at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic to lead UCI to a sixth place finish (307-301-289-897).
 
The team's final round of 289, the second lowest of the season.
 
French recorded nine birdies over the 54 holes and carded a score of 217 (73-73-71). The graduate student started the day in eighth place and shot to third place with her best round of the tournament one-under 71.
 
In had the team's best round with a 70 on the final 18 and move up to 10^th place with a three day score of 222 (78-74-70). It is her third top 10 finish of the year.
French, who hasn't shot higher than 73 over the last two tournaments, leads the Anteaters with a 74.13 scoring average. Janet Yeo follows with a 74.75 and In at 75.38.
