LONG BEACH, Calif. – UC Irvine finished in seventh place at The Gold Rush which concluded Tuesday at the El Dorado Park Golf Course.

The Anteaters shot a final round of 307 to end the tournament with a 54-hole score of 906 (292-307-307). Georgia claimed the tournament title with score of 883, five shots ahead of BYU (888).

Janet Yeo was UCI's top golfer with her second top 10 finish of the season. The junior was 10
th after carding a three-round total of 223 (72-75-76).

Kaley In was tied for 30
th at 228 (75-74-79), while
Avery French was tied for 44
th with a score of 230 (74-79-77) and
Breanne Jones was tied for 56
th at 236 (71-82-83).
Sabrina Li improved every round and posted UCI's best round Tuesday with a score of 75. She ended in 60
th place with a score of 238 (84-79-75).
Playing as individuals,
Camille Wagg was tied for 66th at 240 (79-81-80) and Jaqui Ngo was tied for 70th with a score of 242 (81-81-80).
UCI will take a week off before competing at The Rebel Beach Feb. 26-27 at the
Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
