PALO ALTO, Calif. – No. 11 UC Irvine men's water polo couldn't recover from a slow start, ultimately falling 16-10 to No. 2 Stanford Sunday in Palo Alto.
UCI drops to 8-11 on the season. The Cardinal improve to 17-1 overall.

Miles Kalbus and Evezard scored back-to-back to make it 13-6
> UCI out-scored Stanford 4-3 in the final quarter but it wasn't enough as the Cardinal earned the six-point 16-10 win
