Box Score SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's tennis team fell to San Diego State, 7-0, Sunday at Aztec Tennis Stadium.
 
The Aztecs (3-0) took the early lead as they won all three doubles matches. They then carried the momentum into singles plays with straight-set victories at Nos. 1-6.
 
Stephanie Nguyen put up at fight at the No. 2 spot but was ultimately defeated 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) by SDSU's Magda Aubets.
 
UC Irvine returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 3 when it hosts a doubleheader at Anteater Tennis Stadium. The Anteaters play Hope International at 10:30 a.m. followed by a match against Point Loma at 1:30 p.m.
