SACRAMENTO, Calif. --- Giovanni Godoy's 90th minute goal brought the Anteaters all the way back even as it drew, 3-3, with Sac State Saturday afternoon at Hornet Field.

Godoy sent a header in with 47 seconds to go to tie the match at three and send the match to overtime. UC Irvine (5-4-2, 0-1-1) had to erase deficits of 2-0 at the half and 3-1 down the latter portion of the match in order to get to overtime.

Sac State's Paul Geyer was also issued a red card in the 83rd minute putting them down a man. Geyer was instrumental in the Hornets' first two goal scoring including the opener in the third minute on the match's first shot.

Godoy knocked in his first goal to get things going on the Anteater end in the 52nd minute. Sac State built the lead back to two in the 55th minute before Ivan Canales reeled them back in in the 78th before the late surge.

Among the assists were Daniel Crisostomo, Erick Gallinar, and a pair of first-timers in Alda Perez and Jose Soto. Alex Waldron and Sac State keeper James Del Curto each had six saves.
