IRVINE, Calif. --- One day away for the UC Irvine men's soccer program, and we finish with a forward who is ready to finish up top and guide this offense in
Christian Carrillo.
Carrillo made his way onto the pitch sparingly in his first season in 2016. The senior transferred from Cerritos College where he scored 18 goals and assisted on another 12 in his time there. With his Orange County roots, Carrillo has no problem taking the reins at UC Irvine, and we caught up with Chris to find out a little bit more about him:
- What would be your go-to if you were chef for a day?
I love chilaquiles, definitely for breakfast, but they're good any time of day
- What are you watching when you get a chance to watch some TV?
I've probably watched the entire The Office about 8 times, but lately I've gotten into Forensic Files, it's so interesting
- What fictional character would you be?
Ron Burgundy!! All-time favorite movie is Step Brothers, but my new fav is Baby Driver
- Is there a meaning behind the number 17?
Coincidentally, I was born on the 17th, that and a lot of my favorite players growing up wore No. 17
- What Snapchat filter is your jam?
Omg THE HOT DOG -- he's hilarious
