Daytona Beach, FL -- The UC Irvine women's golf team sits in 20th place heading into the final round of the NCAA Championship at the LPGA International Thursday.
The Anteaters struggled on the third round with a team score of 316 falling to 20th place with a 54-hole total of 933 (303-314-316). Top-ranked Duke continues to lead the field with a 16-over par 880 (300- 287-293), eight shots ahead of second place Purdue.
Individually, junior Selanee Henderson is 18th with a score of nine-over 225 (69-80-76). Freshman Patty Chawalitmetha is 78th after carding a 235 (76-79-80), junior Kim Lorenzana is 87th with a score of 237 (79-77-81), junior Jane Chin is 100th at 240 983-78-79) and freshman Henna Cho is 119th with a three-day total of 249 (79-84-86).
