IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine Athletics has partnered with SIDEARM Sports to introduce a fresh look to the department's official website, ucirvinesports.com, this month. The new-look site offers fans a clean and functional approach to their viewing experience when it comes to Anteater sports and events.

The move to SIDEARM Sports helps strengthen the relationship between the department and its multimedia rights partner, Learfield. UC Irvine Athletics now partners with Learfield in all facets of its business in order to better serve its fans through multimedia rights agreements, licensing, digital, and ticketing initiatives from now Learfield-owned and longtime partner Paciolan.

The prime focus of the new design of ucirvinesports.com is to keep the fan experience at a premium, serving fans the information they want effectively on any device. The newest rendition of the responsive design site provides a consistent experience on the user's mobile device, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

This fresh, visually-appealing website is the perfect opportunity to enhance our brand and reinforce the forward-thinking environment that drives everyone in our department and on the campus of UC Irvine by introducing this updated mobile-first design," Mike Izzi, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics said.

The new ucirvinesports.com emphasizes placing content that the fans want front and center. The introduction of a sortable composite schedule provides a functionality for Anteater fans to stay on top of every program and events on and around the campus and its facilities. Media walls populate each program's page to keep fans in-tune with the happenings on each and every social media platform. A consolidated navigation bar helps fans find what they're looking for more easily across the entire website.

With the adoption of SIDEARM Sports, a new mobile app will be introduced in the coming weeks for both Android and iOS developers. The UCI Front Row Sports application will be discontinued beginning July 1^st.
