Michael Saeta Advances At USA Volleyball Beach Championships

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. – Senior setter Michael Saeta advanced to the semifinals of the USA Volleyball Collegiate Beach Championships Friday at Hermosa Beach Pier.
Saeta, who teams with USC's Lucas Yoder, will face Nathan Vander Meer and Logan Webber tomorrow morning (May 13) at 8:30 a.m. The duo will either advance to play in the championship at 1:15 p.m. or the third place match at 11:00 a.m.
Saeta and Yoder advanced after beating Matthew Yoshomoto and Jake Walenga 2-0 (21-17, 24-22).
Reid Dominguez and Dillon Hoffman lost in the quarterfinals to Brett Rosenmeier and Colton Cowell 0-2 (21-18, 21-14).
