IRVINE, Calif. – Women's track athlete Persis William-Mensah has been named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week after her performance at Mondo Team Challenge in Sacramento, Calif.

The junior broke her own school record in the 100 meters, finishing with a time of 11.57 seconds to beat her old school mark of 11.59 seconds, which she set last year at the Big West Championships.

William-Mensah beat the field by .21 seconds for her second 100m victory of the season.

She also took second place in the 200 meters with a time of 24.33 seconds.

UCI will compete again on Friday (Apr. 7) when they attend the Big West Challenge Cup in Long Beach.
