RIVERSDE, Calif. – Junior Kaley In moved up the leaderboard and is tied for fifth place after the second day of the Big West Championships at the Oak Quarry Golf Club.
In shot an even par 72 on Monday and climbed 11 spots to sixth place with a 36 hole total of 147 (75-72) to lead the Anteaters.
Sophomore Janet Yeo remained in a tie for 10th at 148 (73-75), while Breanne Jones is tied for 14th at 150 (72-78).
Avery French is tied for 34th (159) and Sabrina Li is 38th (161).
The Anteaters shot a 302 for the second consecutive day and fell to sixth place with a two-day score of 604. Cal Poly continues to lead the eight team field with a score 587 (289-298), followed by UC Davis (597), UC Riverside (599), Hawaii and Long Beach State (601). Cal State Fullerton (608) and CSUN (611) sit behind UCI.
The championship concludes tomorrow with the final 18 holes.
