RIVERIDE, Calif. -- Avery French and Kaley In sit in the top 20 individually after the first two rounds of the Battle At The Rock at the Oak Quarry Golf Course.
Avery French shot a one-over par 73 on the second round and is tied for 13th with a 36-hole total of 151 (78-73). Kaley In is tied for 16th at 152 (78-74).
Camille Wagg shot a two round total of 157 (77-80) and is tied for 39th position, while Janet Yeo is tied for 43rd at 158 (81-77) and Sabrina Li is tied for 80th with a score of 171 (92-79). Grace Ferrell is playing as an individual and is 68th after shooting 163 (82-81).
The Anteaters had an 11 shot improvement on the second round to move up to a tie for seventh place with a score of 617 (314-303). Hawaii leads the tournament field with a 599 total. UCI fired 20 birdies, which was second only to UC Riverside's 21.
The tournament ends with 18 holes tomorrow beginning at 7:30 a.m.
