Five Things to Know About: Sydney Hua

IRVINE, Calif. - As we count down the days until the women's basketball season opener on Friday, Nov. 10, we will get to know more about the four returnees, starting with senior guard Sydney Hua.

Hua, who is one of only two seniors on the roster, saw limited action last year due to injuries. She missed the first eight games before making her Anteater debut with a season-best six points and seven rebounds against Sacramento State. Hua previously attended Los Angeles Valley College where she was the only student-athlete from a California Community College recognized as a 2016 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.
