LONG BEACH, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's tennis team concluded the second day of the Beach Tennis Tournament Saturday at Rhodes Tennis Center.
 
Sophomore Arianna Tilbury led the way in singles as she advanced to the Flight C consolation final, which will be played on Sunday morning. After receiving a bye, Tilbury cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Tamilla Vaksman of UC Riverside. In the main draw quarterfinals, sophomore Jacqueline Tsodikova fell to Loyola Marymount's Camila Tumosa.
 
In Flight D, sophomore Gillian Parker upended Cal State Fullerton's Tiani Jadulang, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, to reach the semifinals, but then came up short against Anna Romeka of LMU. Freshman Clair Dean lost her quarterfinal match against Grand Canyon's Kylie Waschuk.
 
Senior Vivien Dvali dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Bara Michalkova of Washington State in the Flight A quarterfinals, while freshman Flora Amiri suffered a 6-3, 6-2 setback to Montana's Julia Ronney in the back draw.
 
Junior Danielle Garrido was on the wrong end of a 6-1, 6-1 score against Siobhan Anderson (LMU) in the Flight B quarterfinals. Senior Ashlynn Hall also fell to Tia Elpusan (UCR) in a consolation match.
 
In doubles, Dean and Parker dispatched the Highlanders' Hitomi/Valera, 6-1, to move on to Sunday's consolation final.
 
The Anteaters return to action tomorrow for the final day of the Beach Tennis Tournament.
