SANTA ANA, Calif. – UC Irvine is tied for second place after the first day of the UC Irvine Invitational held at the Santa Ana Country Club.
The Anteaters are tied with Long Beach State with a score of 585 (293-292), six strokes behind tournament leader Colorado State (579). CSU's Katrina Prendergast had a tournament low 66 and leads the field with a score of 136 (70-66).

Kaley In shot a 69 on the second round which was tied for the second best round of the day and leads UCI with a 36-hole score of 142 (73-69), good for fourth place.
Avery French (73-74) is tied for 14
th with a two round total of 147 (73-74), while
Janet Yeo (75-73) and
Breanne Jones (72-76) are tied for 18
th at 148.
Danielle Lee is tied for 53
rd with a score of 158 (75-83).
A second UC Irvine squad was led by
Sabrina Li who is tied for 47
th at 156 (77-79).
Jessica Goodman is tied for 53
rd with a score of 158 (78-80),
Kelsey Kawaguchi is tied for 56
th at 159 (78-81),
Camille Wagg is tied for 60th at 160 (82-78) and
Jacqui Ngo is tied for 64
th with a two round score of 163 (82-81).
Joy Kim is tied for 69
th at 169 (89-80).
The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow. Tee times begin off holes 1 and 10 at 7:45 a.m.
