LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- UC Irvine finished second at the Pat Lessar-Harbottle Invitational Tuesday at the Tacoma Golf and Country Club.
The Anteaters had a three-round total of 921 (302, 309, 310), finishing behind tournament champions North Dakota State who shot a 909 (300-307-302).
UCI was led by graduate student Avery French who carded a 222 (74, 73, 75) and placed third, her best finish this season.
Junior Janet Yeo, who was coming off a tournament win at the Chip-N Club invitational, was tied for 16th at 231 (78-76-77), while senior Kaley In was tied for 21st a stroke behind at 232 (75-77-80). Senior Camille Wagg tied for 31st at 236 (75-83-78) and sophomore Sabrina Li was tied for 69th at 252 (83-85-84).
UCI will take a week off before hosting the UC Irvine Invitational Oct. 30-31 at the Santa Ana Country Club.
