Zhejiang Bests UC Irvine In Exhibition Match

IRVINE, Calif. – Zhejiang defeated UC Irvine, 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22) in a friendly international match at the Bren Events Center Friday.

The match featured the Anteater debuts of Matt Younggren, Scott Stadick and Grant Friedman. The newcomers made an immediate impact with Younggren and Stadick clamping down the net and Friedman scoring points from the service line.

The Anteaters continued the tradition of hosting a professional international team in a fall exhibition match in preparation for the 2017 season.
