EUGENE, Ore. -- Former UC Irvine All-American Charles Jock begins his quest for Rio at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team Trials in Eugene, Ore today.

Jock will compete in the first round of the 800 meters at 4:15 p.m. PT.

Jock, a three-time Big West Athlete of the Year, was NCAA champion in the 800 meters in 2012.
