Irvine, Calif. – Sophomore Mary Brooks has been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America Second Team.
This is the second All-American honor for Brooks and comes on the heels of her Big West Player of the Year and all-conference first team awards this season.
Brooks led the team with 55 goals on the season and a 1.83 goals per game average, third-best in the conference. The sophomore scored a season-high six goals against Long Beach State on February 13, tying her for second place in the Anteater record books for most goals in a game.
The UCI program touts 15 different Anteaters that have earned 28 All-American accolades over 15 years, while head coach Dan Klatt has led 26 of the 28.
