Adam Alcantara Named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week

Irvine, Calif. --UC Irvine baseball player Adam Alcantara has been named this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week.
The junior from Alta Loma, Calif. drove home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning last Saturday in UC Irvine's 5-4 win over No. 20 UC Santa Barbara.
Alcantara finished the game with three hits, two runs batted in and a run scored. The outfielder also supplied stellar defensive action including a diving catch in foul territory to end the top of the first inning.
For the weekend series, Alcantara went six for 12 with four RBI and a stolen base.
UC Irvine will finish the regular season with a home series against CSUN beginning Thursday (May 26) at 6:30 p.m.
