LONG BEACH, Calif. --- Junior Lloyd Sicard registered the top finish for UC Irvine Saturday at the Beach Invitational.
He finished third of 54 competitors in the 110-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 13.75 seconds and Oliver Pham was 20th in 14.83.
Matt Seawright posted a 14th-place finish in the discus throw with a mark of 171-7 and Lawrence O'Hara was 20th in the shot put at 52-2.
Isaiah Thompson finished 22nd in the 800 meters in 1:52.16 while Isaiah Jewett was 24th in the 400 meters with a time of 48.49 and Paul Resong 32nd in 48.85.
Matt Dispenza was 29th in the high jump with a mark of 6-4 ¾.
The 'Eaters are back in action Friday and Saturday in the Triton Invitational at La Jolla.
