Double-Duty for 'Eaters Friday

Beach Invitational Results / Bryan Clay Invitational Results
UC Irvine pulled double-duty Friday as the Anteaters competed in the Beach Invitational at Long Beach State and the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific.
In the hammer throw on the first day of the Beach Invitational, UCI's Matt Seawright finished 16th overall of 60 competitors with a mark of 190-10 and Jon Dickinson was 52nd at 150-0.
Mike Graf placed 36th in the javelin throw with a mark of 164-4.
Jake Williams was 41st overall in the 800 meters during the second day of the Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 1:53.48.
Isaiah Thompson finished 55th overall of 215 entrants in the 1500 meters with a season-best time of 3:49.24.
David Aguilar placed 134th in 4:00.69 and Jon Rodriguez was 144th in 4:03.07.
Saturday marks the final day of competition at the Beach Invitational.
