AUSTIN, Texas --- UC Irvine concluded action in the 89th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Friday at Austin, Texas.
Junior Lloyd Sicard just missed advancing to the final of the 110-meter hurdles as he placed 10th overall in Friday's preliminaries with a time of 14.28. The top nine qualified for Saturday's final.
UCI's 4x400 relay of Antwon Parker, Isaiah Jewett, Sicard and Brandon Howard finished 12th in the prelims with a time of 3:14.10 and did not advance to the final.
Matt Seawright placed 13th in the discus throw with a mark of 172-1 (52.46m).
Friday night at UCLA's Legends of Track & Field Invitational, Nolan Del Valle finished 11th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 31:40.17.
Jon Dickinson finished 12th in the hammer throw with a mark of 152-6 and Eric Lawver was 15th in the 5,000 meters at 15:28.40.
UCI continues competition at the UCLA Legends of Track & Field Invitational on Saturday.
