IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine won four events Saturday in the Spring Break Invitational at Anteater Stadium.
Junior Lloyd Sicard was victorious in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.12 seconds, Isaiah Jewett won the 400 meters in 48.32 and Matt Seawright earned first in the discus throw for the second straight weekend with a mark of 183-4, fourth-best in UCI history.
The Anteaters' 4x400 relay of Cameron Vaca, Jewett, Sicard and Paul Resong also placed first with a time of 3:13.02.
Additional top-three finishes for UCI included Vaca placing second (52.44) and Brandon Howard third (53.11) in the 400-meter hurdles.
Seawright finished second in the shot put with a mark of 54-6 for No. 8 in the Anteater record book and Lawrence O'Hara placed third at 53-3.
UCI finished fourth in the meet with 135 points as Utah State was first with 169.
The 'Eaters are back in action Thursday through Saturday at the UC Riverside Spring Classic.
