Camille Wagg Paces UC Irvine On First Day Of The Gold Rush

Seal Beach, Calif. – Camille Wagg leads UC Irvine after the first two rounds of The Gold Rush held at the Old Ranch Country Club.

Wagg and Samantha Chan each shot a team-low 76 on the second round. Wagg improved four shots from the first round and is tied for 50th with a score of 156. Kristen Henno is tied for 55th at 157 (77-80), while Samantha Chan (83-76) and Kelsey Kawaguchi (77-82) are tied for 60th with a two round score of 159. Breanne Jones is in 69th place at 161 (82-79).

The Anteaters are in 15th place with a score of 627 (316-311) heading in to the final round. USC is the only team under par, leading the tournament with a score 571 (286-285).

The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow beginning with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
