Kyle Russell Named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine men's volleyball player Kyle Russell has been named this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week.
The senior from Loomis, Calif. recorded a career-high 21 kills in UCI's 3-2 win over No. 2 UCLA handing the Bruins their first home loss of the season. Russell also posted a career-high seven total blocks as well as a season-high 11 digs and three aces. Russell ranks fourth in the league in aces (0.46) and 15th in points (3.56) while averaging 2.88 kills per game.
The Anteaters are on the road this week traveling to No. 13 CSUN Wednesday (Feb. 17) and No. 1 Long Beach State Friday (Feb. 19) at the Walter Pyramid. Both matches begin at 7:00 p.m.
