
UC Irvine Concludes Season in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. --- UC Irvine was led by freshman Brenda Dorantes at the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento Friday.
She finished 120th with a time of 21:53.0 over 6,000 meters at Haggin Oaks Golf Course as the Anteaters placed 30th in team points with 831. Stanford won the meet with 71, Washington was second with 88 and San Francisco third with 101.
UCI's Anastasia Karnaze was 151st in 22:17.8, Lisa Vasquez 183rd in 22:46.4, Aliya Shah 193rd (23:00.9), Marisa Gonzalez 209th (23:31.8) and Hallie Pullum 214th (23:42.3).
Washington's Amy-Eloise Neale won the race in 19:27.8.
