Former Anteaters Dot U.S. World League Preliminary Roster

Irvine, Calif. -- Five former Anteaters dot the preliminary roster of the U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team as FIVB World League pool play gets underway.
UCI's Ryan Ammerman, Carson Clark, Jayson Jabonsky, Dan McDonnell and David Smith are available to make the roster during any of the U.S. World League matches.
With five of the 25 athletes on the roster, UC Irvine has the most of any university.
The U.S., who began the World League slate with two wins against Iran, will take on Russia Friday and Saturday (June 5-6) at the Walter Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State.
Middle blocker David Smith added 10 points in each match against Iran.
