NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. --- UCI's Armed Forces Weekend continued on with a 7-0 sweep of Army Saturday morning at Newport Beach Tennis Club.

The Anteaters (12-9, 1-0) took two of three in doubles to claim the early point.

UCI rolled on with sweeps in four singles points to clinch the match. Army (9-5) sent Nos. 4 and 5 singles to a third set, but Shuhei Shibahara and Jonathan Poon pulled through to get the final two points.

The doubleheader carries on at 2:00 p.m. back at Anteater Tennis Stadium against Portland.
