Irvine, Calif. --- After finishing with a career-best sixth place finish at the Peg Barnard Invitational, sophomore golfer Kaley In has been named this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week.
At the Stanford Gold Course, In shot a career-high 69 in the first round. Her round of 69 was the lowest score ever by an Anteater in the Peg Barnard Invitational. She ended the tournament with a score of even-par 142 (69-73), good for sixth place. In finished ahead of Stanford's Lauren Kim, who finished 11th and is the nation's 30th ranked golfer.
Earlier in the week, Kaley posted her then-third top 20 finish at The Gold Rush at the Old Ranch Country Club. She placed 16th with a three-round total of 228 (81-75-72).
Kaley will be back in action next week, when UCI hosts the UC Irvine Invitational presented by Kia Feb. 23-24 at the Santa Ana Country Club.
