Irvine, Calif. -- Five UC Irvine women's basketball players scored in double-figures as the Anteaters beat Occidental 87-76 in overtime in an exhibition at the Bren Events Center.

Forward Mokun Fajemisin led UCI with 17 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots. Jenny Dee and Shereen Sutherland followed with 14 points each, while Mckenzie Piper added 13 points and Raelyn Cheung-Sutton had 11 in the victory.  The Anteaters out-rebounded the Tigers 58-40.

Occidental was paced by Midori McElwee and Erin Matsumoto with 18 points a piece. The Tigers went 27-36 from the free throw line and hit seven three-pointers.

UCI took control of overtime out-scoring Occidental 7-2 in the first 2:30. Piper would record seven of the Anteaters' 16 points in the extra period.

UCI will take on La Verne in the final exhibition next Tuesday (Nov. 10) at 7:00 p.m. in the Bren Events Center.
