Isaiah Thompson Leads 'Eaters at West Regional

SEATTLE, Wash. --- Junior Isaiah Thompson led UC Irvine once again as the Anteaters ended their season at the NCAA West Regional in Seattle Friday.
Thompson finished 130th with a time of 33:55.9 over 10,000 meters at the Jefferson Park Golf Course as he was UCI's top runner for the fourth time this season.
Branden Randall placed 133rd in 33:58.3, Nolan Del Valle was 141st in 34:06.3, Eric Lawver finished 164th in 34:44.4, Izzak Mireles 174th (35:03.5) and Andrew Graciano 195th (36:05.1).
Edward Cheserek of Oregon was the race winner with a time of 30:43.2.
UCI placed 25th in the meet as Washington was first, Stanford second and Oregon third.
