Las Cruces, NM – UC Irvine completed the Aggie Invitational in 10th place with a 54-total of 911 (295-308-308) over the three day event.
The Anteaters shot back-to-back rounds of 308 at the New Mexico State Golf Course to end the tournament in 10th place. BYU led wire-to-wire with a five-under par 859 (282-287-290). New Mexico State's Viviana Macias won the individual title after shooting a six-under 210 (67-72-71).
Breanne Jones led UCI for the second consecutive tournament, posting her first career top 20 finish. The sophomore placed 19th with a three-day total of 223 (74-74-75). She was tied for the tournament lead in birdies with 10 and Par 5 scoring with a -5 mark.
Sophomore Camille Wagg was tied for 38th at 228 (76-74-78), while sophomore Kelsey Kawaguchi (77-80-75) and junior Samantha Chan (72-80-80) were tied for 49th with a total of 232. Senior Kristin Henno placed 60th with a score of 235 (73-80-82).
The Anteaters close out the fall schedule at the at Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown Oct. 25-27 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.
