
'Eaters Open 2014 Season at Home

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine men's cross country team opens the season at home Saturday morning, hosting the adidas/UCI Invitational at the Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) Fields.
The men's 8,000-meter race is set to begin at 9:15 a.m. (the women's 5,000-meter race is at 8:30 a.m.).
A total of 129 runners are entered for Saturday's men's race.

Directions: From the 405 Freeway, exit at Culver Drive and turn SOUTH. Take Culver to Campus Drive (approximately 2 miles) and turn RIGHT on Campus. Take Campus to California Avenue and turn LEFT on California. Proceed approximately 1/3 mile and the ARC is on the left.
Admission: Free
Parking: $10.00 for each vehicle

Sept. 27: Stanford Invitational @Stanford
Oct. 11: Vanguard Invitational @Costa Mesa (Fairview Park)
Oct. 18: Highlander Invitational @Riverside
Oct. 24: Titan Invitational @Fullerton
The Big West Conference Championship is Nov. 1 in Riverside (UCR Agricultural Operations Course). The Stanford Golf Course is the site for the NCAA West Regional Nov. 14 and the NCAA Championship is in Terre Haute, Ind., Nov. 22.
Jeff Perkins is in his first season as the Anteaters' head cross country coach.
