IRVINE, Calif. --- Jonathan Munoz, voted to the California Collegiate League All-Star Game for the second consecutive summer, is hitting .307 with 23 hits. He leads the So Cal Catch with eight doubles and is second with 12 runs batted in.
Ryan Cooper, playing for the So Cal Brewers in the CCL, is batting .429 with 12 hits. He has doubled four times and tripled once to drive in five. Cameron Bishop is hitting .314 with 16 hits and 17 RBI. He has five doubles and homered twice while scoring nine runs.
Adam Alcantara, one of three Anteaters playing with Wenatchee, is hitting .400 for the AppleSox and is 16 for 40 with five RBI. Alcantara has doubled four times and scored three runs. John Brontsema is also hitting .400 for the AppleSox, posting four hits, including a double to go along with an RBI and two runs scored. Evan Cassolato is batting .275 and has driven in two runs on 11 hits while scoring six.
Alex Guenette is batting .310 for the Yakima Valley Pippins and has 18 hits, including a double and a home run. He has five RBI to go along with 10 runs scored.
Mikey Duarte boasts a .354 average for the Walla Walla Sweets. Duarte has 23 hits, including three doubles and four home runs. He has 14 runs batted in and 15 runs scored. Teammate Renae Martinez has driven in five runs on six hits and scored four runs for the Sweets.
Sam Moore has pitched in seven games for the Orleans Firebirds and has logged 9.1 innings. He has fanned three and is 1-0 on the mound.
