FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- UC Irvine opened action Thursday in the NCAA West Preliminary Round at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.
Junior Mason Miller finished 29th of 48 competitors in the shot put with a mark of 55-9 ¾ and freshman Isaiah Thompson (1:54.92) did not advance in the 800 meters.
Senior James Douglas and freshman Lloyd Sicard compete in the first round of the 110-meter hurdles Friday that begins at 3:00 p.m. (PT).
