UC Irvine finished the season with an 18-11 overall record. The 18 wins are the eighth most in program history.
The Anteaters tied for fifth in the MPSF with a 15-9 league record.
UCI went 9-3 to end the year, dropping just two five-set matches to Stanford and a loss at BYU.
UCI had the most road wins of any MPSF team with 10.
The Anteaters were the only team to sweep Hawaii in Honolulu.
UCI ranked fourth nationally in average attendance.
UC Irvine was the only team in the MPSF that played three MIVA opponents this season, going 2-1. The Anteaters lost 3-2 to Loyola, one of only two teams to take the Ramblers to five games this season.
UCI lost a 3-2 match at Stanford in the MPSF quarterfinals. Zack La Cavera tied his career-high with 19 kills to lead the Anteaters.
Michael Brinkley was named first team AVCA All-America, while Scott Kevorken was a second team All-America choice. Brinkley earned second team All-MPSF honors, while Kevorken was a first team honoree. Jeremy Dejno was an honorable mention All-MPSF selection.
Brinkley joined Carson Clark and Kevin Tillie as the only two-time first team All-Americans from UCI.
As of Apr. 28 NCAA Statistics Toughest Schedule Report, UCI has the toughest schedule in the MPSF.
Collin Mehring became the school record holder in career hitting percentage with a .485 mark. His .468 hitting percentage this year ranked fifth best in a season at UCI.
Jeremy Dejno ends his Anteater career ranked fifth in service aces (94), 14th in kills (940) and attack attempts (2,084).
Scott Kevorken is ranked tied for fifth in career solo blocks (54) and seventh in block assists (313) and total blocks (367).
Daniel Stork graduated with 2,027 set assists which ranks ninth in the UCI career book.
Michael Brinkley ranks second all-time in UCI career digs (769). His 280 digs this year ranks fifth in digs in a season.
Zack La Cavera led the team in kill average (3.47). The junior ranked 15th nationally in service aces (0.38).
In the latest AVCA ranking UCI was No. 6. The Anteaters have been ranked in the nation's top 15 for 152 consecutive weeks.
The Anteaters have been ranked No. 1 in seven different years (2003, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014). UCI has held the No. 1 spot for 36 weeks overall.
