WALNUT, Calif. --- Senior Stephen Brown finished eighth in the pole vault to lead UC Irvine at the 56th Mt. SAC Relays Friday.
Brown cleared a height of 15-11 in the event.
Mason Miller finished 11th of 24 competitors in the shot put with a mark of 56-0 and James Douglas was 25th of 53 in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.61.
Brandon Howard led the 'Eaters in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 37th overall of 60 in 54.04.
