BOISE, Idaho --- UCI finished off its road trip with a 4-1 defeat of the University of Idaho Saturday evening on the campus of Boise State University.

'Eater doubles notched the initial point with wins at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles.

The Vandals scored a straight-set win at No. 2 singles to ruin the sweep, but Jonathan Hammel, Caryl Hernandez, and Jonathan Poon nabbed straight-set wins of their own to score the necessary points for UCI (10-14, 0-3) to finish the road trip on a winning note.

UCI returns home with a Wednesday doubleheader on April 16. The 'Eaters host LMU at Costa Mesa Tennis Center at 10:00 a.m. and follow it up with a 3:00 p.m. match back at Anteater Tennis Stadium in Big West action as UC Riverside visits.
